What will you do?
At our offices in Hilversum we are looking for an Business Analyst Royalties in our Central Royalties departement. Our team is responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of worldwide royalties towards some of the major catalogue artists and label partners.
As a Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will be:
Data Management:
Translate artist agreements into royalty accounting parameters
Manage input, processing and output of our royalty system (TRACS)
Analyze royalty income versus outgoing artist royalties
Update our royalty provision tool
Reporting:
Manage the Global Royalty Portal: publishing and user access
Obtain source data to support response to audit reports
Create timely and accurate royalty calculations
Request, coding and approve budget and invoices
Financial accounting of sundry reporting from external parties
Stakeholder Management:
Act as a point of contact & knowledge center for all questions from users of royalty statement portal
Communicate with Operating Companies about profit share reports and Joint Ventures
Research and resolve issues and complaints related to royalty statements
IT:
Contribute to the process of renewing our royalty systems
Who are we looking for?
You have a completed bachelor (HBO) in finance or music management
You have a passion for data and administrative processes, ideally demonstrated in an earlier position
You have a minimum of three years work-experience
You are solution oriented and focused on getting the job done
You are customer- and service oriented
You live in the Netherlands and have good command of the English language
You are completely familiar with the Office package (especially Excel) and are interested to extend your expertise with our inhouse royalty systems, SAP & Business Objects
