World premiere for New Horizons on Nürburgring!

Sunday, August 27, 2017 — Mark August 24th & 25th, 2018 for the New Horizons festival

150 world-class DJs and 55,000 fans celebrated in 7 elaborately designed worlds
Highlight: The Showmoment at 9 pm

The eagerly awaited first edition of New Horizons Festivals is over and has been a massive success in every respect. A total of 55,000 visitors on 2 days and 3 nights enjoyed the amazing atmosphere in the 7 elaborately designed worlds promoter ALDA was able to bring to Nürburgring thanks to years of experience as a global producer and concept developer. 150 of the world’s best DJs set the place on fire and even a short interruption early on Saturday morning due to severe weather conditions did nothing to dampen festival goers‘ spirits.

Pyrotechnics, fireworks, lighting design and special effects made for an unforgettable live experience touching all the senses. Dreamlike worlds between steam punk and vaudeville, mindblowing colours and all-enveloping confetti clouds put fans into a truly ecstatic state! With curious eyes, they explored the Kingdom of New Horizons and found new adventures at every turn.

World premiere for New Horizons on Nürburgring!

The festival’s impressive line-up of 150 DJs included 28 of the UK’s DJ Mag’s official Top 100 and featured names such as Felix Jaehn, Robin Schulz, Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Axwell^Ingrosso, Martin Solveig, and Armin van Buuren. And they all had come here with one goal in mind: to give people the best weekend of their summer! With music styles ranging from EDM, House, Trap, Techno and Hardstyle to Trance and Goa, and stage names as imaginative as Capital City, Urban Circus, Trap Town, Dark Valley, Trancetonia, Factory 49, and Garden of Goa, New Horizons more than lived up to its claim of delivering 7 festivals in one!
One of the biggest highlights of the festival was the special Show Moment which took place at 9pm on both days at the main stage, Capital Park, with a mindblowing spectacle of lighting and special effects culminating in a blindingly colourful finale of fireworks and glitter.
