Welcome to the Future is one of the iconic Techno and House underground festivals, located in Het Twiske, just nearby Amsterdam. On July 21st, during their 12th edition, Pan-Pot, Chris Liebing, Joris Voorn, Green Velvet, Dax J, Charlotte de Witte and 40 more will be joining the festival on 7 stages dotted around the green hills and forests of Het Twiske.

∞ GETTING THERE & AWAY ∞
Please bear in mind that July 21st is the first day of Summer holidays in the North of Holland, so expect more traffic than usual. This year, we’ll be selling 20% less tickets than previous tickets in order to reduce waiting times.
► BIKE
Welcome to the Future can easily be reached by bike, we have a massive bike parking near the festival entrance. Cycling from Amsterdam Central Station will take you around 35 minutes.
Take the ferry ‘Buiksloterweg’ behind Amsterdam Central Station. Once across the water, please follow the signs! Extra ferries will be deployed from and to Amsterdam Central Station.
► SHUTTLE BUS – AMSTERDAM SLOTERDIJK
Shuttle buses will operate between Amsterdam Sloterdijk station and Welcome to the Future. The first buses depart at 11:30 and they will continue driving back and forth throughout the duration of the festival.
This year, the shuttle bus will take a different route than in previous years. The route in Het Twiske will be mostly free of other festival traffic, and the shuttle buses will always have priority over other traffic.
A return ticket between Sloterdijk and Welcome to the Future costs €8,-. You can buy your shuttle bus ticket in our online ticketshop or at the bus stop on July 21st.
Leaving the festival?
For your return trip back to Sloterdijk, keep in mind that there might be a waiting time of 30 minutes.

Event Travel offers more than 150 pick-up points throughout the Netherlands, meaning that there’s always a location near your house! You can buy a bus ticket (roundtrip) or a combination ticket (festival entrance + roundtrip) at www.eventtravel.nl/busreis-welcome-to-the-future-oostzaan/
Organizing your own bus trip to Welcome to the Future?
In case you're organizing a touring car yourself, make sure to register in order to reserve a dedicated parking lot right near the festival entrance.
You can register your bus at http://shop.onlineticket.nl/evenement/3050/1/welcome_to_the_future/. Within 3 days before the event, all information will be sent to you via e-mail.
Good news! The parking spot for touring cars is located right next to the festival entrance.
► CAR & PARKING
Parking tickets are available in our online ticket shop at http://tickets.welcometothefuture.nl/.

Once you're in the surroundings of Het Twiske, please follow the signs and instructions of our traffic controllers.
All parking lots are located inside Het Twiske this year (no external parking). There will be different parking lots, with different entry routes. Because of the different entry routes, you might be instructed to enter Het Twiske via a small detour.
Like at all large events, please take waiting times of at least 1 hour into account when leaving the festival.
► UBER
The Uber pick-up point is located outside of Het Twiske. Please keep in mind that waiting times are increased after the end of the festival.
Leaving the festival?
Follow the Uber signs to find your driver quickly at the special Uber pick-up point. The Uber app will guide you towards this pick-up point as well.
► KISS & RIDE
The Kiss & Ride pick-up point is located outside of Het Twiske. In order to find each other, follow the 'Kiss & Ride' route.
► TAXI
The taxi stand will be located outside of Het Twiske, at a different location than the Uber pick-up point. We discourage you to take a taxi, as waiting times are unpredictable.

Water belongs to everyone! We serve fresh and chilled water right from the tap, all day long and for free. Refill your cup or waterbag as often as you want at our dedicated tap water bars.
∞ FUNKTION ONE ∞
We all love good sound quality, that’s why all of our stages are fully equipped with Funktion-One (Official) systems.
