For the next episode of their club night in Studio 80 the people behind the E brand managed to arrange a truly unique performance by a truly unique artist!
Marc Romboy has helped some well renounced projects and platforms see the light of day. Household underground names such as Terminal M, Alphabet City, PSI-49-Net and of course his very own Systematic Recordings.
With a rarely found combination of love for an oldskool, dirty tec...hno sound and an instinct for new technological developments, Marc's reputation has grown widely over the last couple of years.
This taste for new gear will find a new highpoint in his dj-set this evening, because We are E is so lucky to be part of a number of tryouts Romboy is doing with a very next generation of controllers with which he will surely amaze and dazzle you all!!! The Emulator Modular by Smithson Martin. Imagine a glass plate with totally custom build touch screen possibilities... Star trek is coming to Studio 80!!
Support in the main room is coming from Terry Toner and Arjuna Schiks live... The latter is known and loved for his spacey, almost hippie like interpretation and approach of both his music and his life in general... Terry is the latest addition to the E commune, so please don't forget to say hi to him during his set!
Room two will see a lot of hands in the air with the down to earth straight up sounds from Joey Daniel and Frenk Wiersma... Party guaranteed!!

A heads up for all you aspiring producers and jocks out there: Before the party there will be an opportunity to pick up some tips and tricks in Studio 80's ableton masterclass given by Michel Sanchez (Minz) and Max Coppens (Specker). Also within that workshop Mister Romboy will demonstrate the endless possibilities of the emulator for the first time in Holland. So be sure to check that out, as it will probably be your only chance to see the future of dj-ing from up close!
