This summer new icon of the grime scene Stormzy will takeover our famous poolside stage for #Merky, an EXCLUSIVE monthly residency in association with Noisey!
Stormzy first came to our attention with his WickedSkengman Youtube cyphers a few years ago and last summer we gave him his first Ibiza show supporting Dizzee. He blew us away so much we asked him to come back in August with Rinse FM and now he is quite rightly getting the Ibiza residency he deserves at Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Since stacking up six-figure viewings online with his freestyles and the massive reaction to the independent release of single ‘Shut Up’, Stormzy has ignited a new generation of UK rap. The 2015 MOBO Award winner for Best Male and Best Grime Act is quite clearly the future.
With an all star cast joining him on stage this summer Stormzy said: “It’s gonna be good vibes, sick artists and some of the best UK talent. Hope to see you there.”
