Hypnotizing, pulsating music by multi-talented Polish artist and his band. During the Amsterdam Dance Event, The Rest is Noise and BIMHUIS collaborate to explore the outer edges of dance music.
With his spiritual, hypnotic and versatile work the Polish clarinet player Wacław Zimpel has evolved into one of today’s most exciting clarinet players. His music touches on minimal, (free) jazz, improv and electronic music. During ADE Zimpel will present a solo set and the premiere of the new show together with Saagara.
Saagara is a super group of four Indian virtuosos and Zimpel. Their sound combines age-old Indian ragas and talas with Zimpels boundless and genreless approach. The result is a wild spiritual cocktail. It is one of the many projects of Zimpel, which in recent years threw high eyes with performances at festivals like Unsound in Krakow and Rewire Festival in The Hague.
