WHEN YOU LOVE TO DANCE, MUSIC IS A GIFT
Most of us enjoy music festivals and club nights on a regular basis. But there are many who can’t enjoy this on their own because of their disabilities.
Due to the government's recent budget cuts there is less and less money available to support youngsters with disabilities. Even everyday activities like going to the barber for a fresh haircut, playing outside or doing groceries is becoming a challenge. Let alone dancing at a music festival.
Unfortunately there is just not enough help and money to give young people with disabilities the extra attention they need. But just like everybody else they like to go out and party every once in a while! And that’s where we come in…
10,000 HOURS is starting The Gift Club, an exclusive club for dance music lovers who want to give something back and give youngsters with disabilities a chance to dance too.
We’ll launch The Gift Club with an exclusive party on January 28th in AIR Amsterdam. It's going to be a spectacular club night with performances by many of the 10,000 HOURS ambassador DJs. One of our most gifted ambassadors Nicky Romero has even helped one of the youngsters producing a track, which will premiere at The Gift Club launch party.
We will raise hands – and funds – during The Gift Club launch party: all ticket and table service revenue goes to the 10,000 HOURS foundation so we can organise a special Festival Tour for disabled youngsters during the summer of 2016.
So save the date and start sharing the precious gift of music
