The Daisy Age will provide you with them sunshine vibes in the lovely city of Amsterdam.
This time we have another special guest from our southern neighbours: DJ Mister Critical (BE), well known for his broad style of uplifting music; "anything goes, as long as it's funky!"
Together with residents Silvester, Mr Mendel & the fly & always on point MC Melodee, we bring you an energetic mix of the new- and oldschool feel-good music.
The Daisy Age is a club night which brings positivity back to the dance floor. In 1989 De La Soul first coined the term "The Daisy Age", which stands for “DA Inner Sound Y’all”, representing a vibe and sound that is happy, conscious, upbeat and experimental.
The Daisy Age club night carries out this philosophy. DJ’s Silvester, Mr. Mendel, Alex Mir & MC Melodee reinstate the era and play everything that fits into the conscious and positive mind state: feel-good hiphop, soul, disco, rhythm & blues, latin, reggae and exciting new electronic sounds. It doesn't matter which genre it is, as long as it is danceable, good and positive!
