Tijdens het Amsterdam Dance Event host Sander van Doorn dit jaar zijn eigen avond in de splinternieuwe Chin Chin Club op zaterdag 21 oktober. De avond zal in het teken staan van zijn trance alter ego Purple Haze welke hij begin dit jaar nieuw leven in blies. Eind volgende maand brengt hij onder dit alter ego ook een album uit, waarvan de release tijdens ADE gevierd gaat worden.
Naast Sander van Doorn - die als Purple Haze zijn opwachting maakt tijdens deze avond - worden verschillende gastartiesten uitgenodigd welke de komende weken bekend worden gemaakt.

Met Purple Haze laat Sander van Doorn zijn ‘dark side’ zien. De muziek die hij onder dit alter ego produceert is dieper, melodieuzer en ruiger dan de sound die hij laat horen als Sander van Doorn. Tijdens Ultra Music Festival in Miami eerder dit jaar liet hij het publiek voor het eerst kennis maken met zijn donkere kant. Al snel volgden festivals als EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland in België en Dreamstate in Mexico die ervoor kozen om Purple Haze in plaats van Sander van Doorn op hun line-up te zetten.
Op 29 september komt het debuutalbum van Purple Haze uit op DOORN Records; het eigen label van Sander van Doorn.

Amsterdam Dance Event is just weeks away and the excitement is rapidly building for what promises to be another memorable gathering for the dance music community. Now comes the announcement of the guests joining Purple Haze for his album release party at the newly oppened Chin Chin Club – adding yet more anticipation for the event’s arrival.
Hailing from Brighton, England, Tim Mason has been a formidable force on labels like Sander’s own DOORN Records, Size Records and Armada Trice, has remixed David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida and his spine-tingling sounds make a great addition to the line-up. Bolier is presenting some early 00s Border Community sounds and progressive dance music under his alias BLR, which he started back in the end of 2016.
Scottish talent Grum has found much acclaim with his exciting progressive trance sounds, with remixes for the likes of Lady Gaga along the way. Now a regular fixture on the mighty Anjunabeats – the label founded by Above & Beyond. Tinlicker complete the line-up. The rising duo from Utrecht who make supercool progressive house and have also been gracing Anjunadeep and Armada of late.
