SPEEDY J
The Rotterdam based techno hero is unanimously cosidered to be one of the first techno producers to come from the Benelux. Together with people like Laurent Garnier, Aphex Twin and Richie Hawtin he helped raising the genre just after it had escaped the Detroit delivery room.
He already smashed Perron this august. Fully packed till early in the morning Speedy J all ready rocked our Cashba (trailers coming up). After impressive sets at, among others, Lowlands and Awakenings, he celebrates new years eve in his hometown. Together with us.
JOEY BELTRAM
Joey Beltram is an American DJ and record producer, known best for the pioneering techno music recordings “Energy Flash” and “Mentasm”.
Though he has never belonged to any particular urban scene, he has nevertheless fascinated his audience through his musical independence. Nor can he as a “non-Manhattaner”, be counted as part of the New York scene: ”…with my productions I have to have my own sound”. His tracks present what he sees, whatever is running through his mind at the time or things he has lived through and experienced in all the years as a musician and DJ: the ups and the downs, the violence and confusion and of course, the feeling. His music carries many subtle undertones…
L’AZIZZI
The founder of Perron (also known for Rotterdams first traveling circus through parking lots, churches, brothels, museums and more, Révolt) decided to tackle 2012 with a brand-new musical approach. Instead of popping up new venues and festivals like taking candy from little girls on the guest list he’s planning to start his new year with resetting the image of Azizzi a.k.a. I’ll call you back oké.
