No other than Detroit legend mr. Kenny Dixon Jr. a.k.a. MOODYMANN will be bringing the right vibes for one long and hell of a sexy night. Just as he's been doing for the last two decades! Moodymann is truly something else and one of the very few artists that is ever as relevant today as he was at the time of release of 'Mahogany Brown' in 1998 or 'Black Mahogani' in 2004. Not only is he one of the most flamboyant and outspoken voices in contemporary music, but also one of the most musically gifted producers around. Tracks like 'Shades of Jae' and 'I Can't Kick This Feeling When It Hits' have been defining moments in the history of house music. Needless to say we are most delighted to have him over to close down this years ADE at RADION Amsterdam. Get ready for a downright warm and lush night and remember: 'U Can Dance If U Want To'!
And we've got more for you! Because straight from NYC comes GE-OLOGY, who is definitely the man of the hour with upcoming releases on Theo Parrish's Sound Signature and Ron Trent's Prescription label later this year. As a DJ he has more than proven himself as well. Who remembers his set during Rush Hour's S.I.A. last April?! Pure heat guaranteed!
Besides Mr. KDJ & GE-OLOGY some of Amsterdam's finest are set to get you moving. Expect the best from YOUNG MARCO, who has appeared more often in front of the camera's of Boiler Room than most DJ's have had gigs. Also, MARCEL VOGEL and MR. MENDEL will be spinning a back to back DJ-set full of disco, house, afro, brasil and whatever is in between.
Opening support comes from Our Society residents Wendel Sield and Pierre August and MyHouse DJ's Berend, Daan, Erik and Jeroen.
