MANIFEST & PIONEER DJ LABORATORY JUNE pt 2
This month we are exceptionally hosting not one but two Manifest parties! Both will take place in Café d’Anvers (where else ;) ) The first on June 1 we’ll be welcoming leading lady of techno Magda while on June 25 internationally acclaimed DJ and Producer Umek will hit the decks. After this, Manifest will go on a well-deserved summer break!
For a long time, Slovenia has been known for its great electronic parties, but as the local scene is of boutique dimensions, everyone who wishes to take the art of mixing and producing to a professional level, has to go out there and enter the worldwide scene. Umek has done this step as early as in the middle of the 90s and so he became one of the most important techno players of the global techno scene, even before the end of the last millennium.
His own label 1605 Music Therapy – Sixteenofive is tagged as a great success and is one of the world’s fastest growing techno labels, which spawns releases and new talents almost every week. But most of all, Umek stays focused on his primary goal – making and selecting high quality productions that stand out from the rest and bringing his sound closer to people all around the world. We’re very curious to see what he’ll bring us in Antwerp!
Headliner Umek will be joined by our Labyrinth residents Tofke and Ugur Yurt.

As always, the concept of Manifest consists of offering a few lucky DJ’s, producers or music aficionados a comprehensive workshop before the party.

Doors open at 20h30, classes start at 21h sharp! Be on time! Tickets are very limited so you have to be quick. They are available via Timoco for only €20 and, of course, grant you entrance to the party with Umek as well.
Regular tickets can be bought in pre-sale as well. They’re cheaper and you don’t have to wait in line at the door so twice the advantage.
