In light of the MTV Music Week taking over Amsterdam, MTV & morgen.am invite you to a special night at AIR Amsterdam. We will be showcasing you tomorrow's music by today's young and playful talent.
Headlining is Klangkarussell, a feel good example of two rebellious high school friends who met each other for a beer after a 'long time no see'. Apparently on the same page about music, they started producing tunes and soon nailed down their musical chemistry into only their third overnight production: 'Sonnentanz'. The track we now all know as a world wide club and radio hit. This was two years ago; since then they travel the globe and they've signed for an album with Universal (due next year).
Supporting this laid-back duo (did you know they make their own beer?) are Amsterdam's most friendly artists Arjuna Schiks, Some Chemistry and another popular duo formed in 2011, PONY. In the 2nd area we have more upbeat melodic tech-house for the stronger moves featuring the truly young and talented Hubert Kirchner, Marckus and No Reset.
