“The chillest bro in dance music.”
That’s the way one RA staff member described Jamie Jones, when he was crowned #1 DJ in 2011.
Born and raised in Wales, Jamie’s university days in London helped raising his involvement with the club culture that would bring him to Ibiza during the summers. Jamie impressed just about everybody crossing his path, which ultimately helped him form a part of thriving music scenes in Ibiza (Space Terrace, DC10, …) and later East London (think: warehouse parties and regular gigs at Fabric).
Releases on labels such as “Freak n’ Chic”, “Crosstown Rebels”, “Get Physical”, “Cocoon”, “Poker Flat” and far too many more to mention, get him in the Beatport top 10 as well as renowned by dance media around the globe on a regular basis.
It was a remix however, which bombarded Jamie to instant stardom. Does “Azari & III” – Hungry For The Power” ring a bell? This masterpiece quickly became synonymous with partying in the summer of 2011.
Jamie Jones has distinguished himself by developing a signature sound that makes it impossible to remain motionless on the dance floor. Somehow his sets just appeal to literally everybody as the consistent, bouncy groove goes deep, very deep.
Last but not least, Jamie is also co-founder of immensely popular label Hot Creations.
The superstar will be supported by La Rocca resident Joeri and Labyrinth Artists Tofke and Ugur Yurt.
