What’s house, what’s techno, what’s disco, what’s deep house, what’s what? The answer is simple: INTERSECTION, where it all comes together.
The endless divergence and convergence within electronic music intersects at many points in many ways, yet much remains uncrossed. Witness the cross section of music by DJ’s from different backgrounds mixing up fresh tunes, providing fuel for dance floor damage at RADION. Amsterdam’s breeding ground for new exciting stuff! The opening night is on the 10th of April. Music by MELON, MIKE RISK and DOPPELGANG.
Excitement all along! MELON is a natural artist, who has played at some of the world’s finest clubs purely by being great at spinning records, such as Fabric, Robert Johnson or Panorama Bar. With his unique selection of absolute tunes and canonical gems he always delivers. And his residency at Trouw Amsterdam is nothing less than a legend to be told to the offspring.
Night guide MIKE RISK was at the forefront of the deep house revolution and one of the key figures in bringing artist to Holland from all around the world, when still a unique thing, at his infamous Club Risk parties. He has played all over of the world, like New York, Miami, LA, Bali, London & Ibiza. Industry greats like Kerri Chandler, DJ Deep and DJ Rush highly favour and respect him and his DJ skills. Because his sets always surprise and make people dance!
Does DOPPELGANG ring a bell? If not, they definitely will ring your bell when experienced, offering an energetic and fun loving mix of deep_neo_Chicago house and disco. Their music and talent is recognised beyond our borders as well. They’re no strangers in Berlin, London and Istanbul for example and many festivals have had the honour to welcome the twins.
