After being more than one year, Holland’s leading club night, this year HYPE will also present an Amsterdam Dance Event special with The Partysquad, Nicky Romero, DJ Jaziah, When Harry met Sally & TESSisMore, Youri Alexander, DJ Alvaro and Illuminati AMS.

HYPE is an eclectic event where atmosphere and quality of music are highly valued. Every week the most talented, prominent respected, national and international artists are performing at this club night in the Jimmy Woo. For people who want to know how they should experience the future of the land of clubnights, this is an evening not to be missed.

The Partysquad

For this ADE special, HYPE has joined forces with The Partysquad. These men, Ruben and Jerry, are well known for their versatility: on one hand there is this continuous flow of successful hits at home in Holland and secondly they have spent quite some time with remarkable international artists like Major Lazer (Diplo & Switch), LMFAO and Ninjasonik. With releases on international respected labels; Spinnin Records and Mad Decent, these two men are still at the beginning of their vivid and worldwide adventures. Together with HYPE, The Partysquad invites;

Nicky Romero one of the most treasured Dutch upcoming talents, currently in production with the mighty Avicii and also, he is the man behind remixes for artists like Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Kelly Rowland and Flo-Rida. And only for these kind of talents there is a special place in the biggest clubs with the biggest DJ’s; this summer Romero shared the dj booth with David Guetta and Afrojack in the Pacha, Ibiza.

DJ Jaziah with his distinctive DJ skills and diversity of style is a familiar face in the Dutch dance scene and is found only in big clubs like Paradiso, Panama, Jimmy Woo and at festivals such as Mysteryland, Extrema Outdoor, Rockit Festival, Dirty Dutch. But not only that, without Jaziah there would not be HYPE, and/or Illuminati AMS. This popular DJ is also a welcome guest at major fashion shows of designers like Armani and Darryl van Wouw.

Illuminati AMS is an Amsterdam-based creative collective, the enlightened ones. Illuminati brings an unique perspective on music, art, fashion and performance. Their music connects different styles to their own signature sounds.

WHMS & TiM these ladies have recently released their single with The Partysquad "For Your Love" and for this night the party starter DJ duo will bring a beautiful balance in the line up, with their dressing game and flirting with sexuality.

DJ Alvaro a promising DJ / producer who, was able to provide a track for Pitbull and many other, who works a lot with The Partysquad, but also Lil’ Jon and is responsible for remixes of artists like Usher, Diplo and Sak Noel (Loca People). The buzz around Alvaro began with his remix of "I Took The Night" by Chelley.

Youri Alexander knows how to create a surreal vibe with his music, therefore is found weekly behind the decks at notorious clubs like Jimmy Woo, Escape, Club Home, Bloomingdale and the Supperclub.


Jimmy Woo has been a success in the Amsterdam entertainment world for 9 years now. Also thanks to Jimmy Woo their door policy they remain an exclusive and intriguing place that always excites. Not only in Amsterdam but also large numbers of national and international celebrities are found here weekly.
