ABOUT Now&Wow
Danceclub Now&Wow started in 2000. The duo Pietra Ligura and Ted Langenbach realised a colourful and glamorous platform within the obscure walls of Now&Wow by means of image, sound and the club's characteristic perfomance art. With theme nights such as: Lolita Klup, Hipsters, Electric Ballroom, Beatboetiek, Flirt, Kissy Kissy Bang Bang, S.H.I.T. (Sophisticated High International Trash), Soulpunkers on Discospeed and Speedfreax music they melted together image, design, fashion, theatre and performances into an ultimate mix which stimulated the many visitors to also participate artistically.
Over Now&Wow:
Now&Wow, de legendarische club alwaar vele DJ’s zoals Benny Rodrigues, Joris Voorn, Martin Solveig en zelfs De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig hun eerste optredens deden gaat op 8 september weer open. Het was de club voor freeminders, met hilarische decors en een flinke dosis humor, fashion en kunst. Met thema’s als Speedfreax, Flirt, Soulpunkers, Electric Ballroom en Lolita. Als indoor festival groeide Now&Wow door met nieuwe performance talenten, verse DJ’s en totaaltheater. Op Milkshake is Now&Wow vanaf het begin vaste partner en host ieder jaar een groot podium.
Anno 2018 is het tijd voor een nieuwe, internationale club op zaterdag. Een club tegen de vertrutting en vanzelfsprekendheid alwaar nieuwe iconen en talenten het podium gaan delen. Now&Wow de club krijgt 3 zalen (de Now zaal, Kiss My Ass en Disko L’amour) met techno, house, disco, queer hop en alle varianten van de dance. Kortom, een club waar het publiek weer kan zijn wie ze willen zijn.
