GoodLuck have begun razzling the world with their electro swing! Igniting the night skies with their jazzing beats - it’s a blend of serious sums of talent, plenty of groove and a helluva lot of passion. And their next plan? Taking over the dance floors of the world!
With a production that blends electronic beats with the distinctive ELECTRO SWING with sounds of saxophone, electronic percussion, jazzy vocals, synth and keyboards, their music just makes you feel good!
Almost 2 years after combining their passion for good music, these three musos have been charming and commanding crowds with their new wave of electronics. There is a power to their music that lifts, energises and makes you feel like you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but on the dance floor.
Good Luck have taken their jazzy fizzling sounds to the dance floors of St Yves, Clapham Gold, FTV, Taboo, and Club INC and many others, they have performed alongside Paul Oakenfold, Basement Jaxx, Just Jinjer, Shaun Duvet, Euphonic and DJ Fresh and toured as the opening act for the acclaimed outfit Goldfish. GoodLuck featured on the Hennessey Artistry collaboration with Liquid Deep, Zama Jobe and Teargas and YFM,
Their 2010/2011 summer hit ‘Taking It Easy’ reached number 4 of the 5FM top 40, number 6 on the KFM and Highveld SA top 40 charts, number 5 on the Metro FM charts and the tracks music video has been listed on Trace Europe TV. Taking it Easy and various remixes are currently number 64 on the beatport international charts. Their current single Hop on Hop off reached number 1 on the top 40 charts and was the most played South African song across all radio for 2 weeks in a row.
GoodLuck have achieved global recognition in the JWT New York and Johannesburg ‘Things to watch in 2011’ trend spotting list at #84.
Interatioanally they’ve heated up season long residencies in Cape Town and fired up parties in Ibiza, the UAE and Switzerland.........And crowds are chanting for more. Good Luck has already begun to make their musical mark on the international stage, and that is where they plan to stay.
