Petter wasn't very well known before Anathema took him on tour as their opening singer. Born in the north of Norway and just an ordinary guy. Nobody would think that he's able to grab anyones attention, but this is what he does. He takes his instrument and sings, the rest is history. When Petter is on stage any other sound disappears to let his voice and his chords fill the empty space around. His music is all about the inside: it is a deep dive into his own soul following a fascinating melody. If his first record, 'You Go Bird' was a knife that scratched out the surface of our hearts, his last album 'Clocks Don't Count' is a dagger that stabs us in our innermost self. A poetic melancholy that permeates the Nordic atmosphere of the record.
