Floorplay turns 11!
We are delighted to announce that Floorplay is set to celebrate our 11th birthday on June 1! To mark the joyous occasion we have picked a true Dutch legend to play for you lucky party people. Ladies and gentlemen, Floorplay presents the one and only ERICK E!
Erick made his name initially as a hip hop DJ, before making the switch to house music in the early 90s. Erick's knack for finding the right tunes saw him forge his career at legendary Amsterdam clubs such as The Roxy, The iT and The Escape. Erick was becoming hugely in-demand for his sexy house sound and infectious smile behind the decks.
Erick is still wildly popular as a DJ in Holland a abroad, headlining all the top festivals and beach parties that matter. Erick also teams up with Roog as Housequake, which is an audio-visual dance extravaganza, for a few select gigs every year.
Floorplay founder Paul Sparkes will provide the early set this night. Sparkes' busy summer season has kicked off early, with this Brit having just returned from Electric Tribe festival in Bonaire. He is slated to play in Ibiza to open the season in May before the UK and then USA this summer.
