It might be as far back as 2004, but many of you will remember the first time you heard 'What's A Girls To Do'. It's slow burning. Tumbling along with gentle but militant kicks. By now it's established itself as a contemporary classic, with summer festivals silently promising to play host to it's presence. Bas Bron, the Dutch producer behind the alias Fatima Yamaha, has continued to weave his way through charts and labels since - and currently catching attention for his live performances. With a notoriety for a pop/funk slant to the sometimes dark house and techno scene, his productions, as well as mixes, all share a fizzing energy - best described for the shared, elated mood they produce in the swerving crowds.
