A new cult movement is spreading over the city of Rotterdam. CULT CLUB is all about the new age cult heroes of today. And to be honest, which person doesn’t have a favorite cult hero nowadays?
CULT CLUB is about carrying out new movements. This is typically represented by our visitors and also by our performing artists. Expect a night of magical dancing in the dark.
Feel the fame, feel the tension, feel the fire.
With the introduction of this new movement along goes a fine taste of new age music. CULT CLUB will therefore be musically supported by our national heroes:
SPACEGIRLS

SPACEGIRLS is a DJ collective consisting of four girls; Charlotte van den Brekel, Elise Braas, Jesler Amarins and Titia van Beckum. Besides looking not too shabby, they are also known for their great taste in music, from Detroit and Chicago house, to disco classics, acid house, new beat and everything in between.
The girls won a Dutch nightlife Golden Gnome for being the best DJ team of the year of 2012, and played many top club gigs at places like Paradiso, Chicago Social Club, Perron and Effenaar. SPACEGIRLS played several festivals, such as Lowlands, Costa del Soul, Symphonica Electronica Freeze, Bungalup, Eurosonic, Kindergarten and more. But being versatile is key, so these ladies also sparkle at playing industry gigs at big PR events for international brands like Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Paul Smith and Monki.

The Rotterdam born and raised Dirk Schmidt is involved in music as long as he remembers.
Starting out in the ‘gabber’ scène he is now an enthusiastic music producer and mixer of disco, house and acid.
Together with Boris Ross they initiated Pop On Acid where they started bringing music to the public of Rotterdam at small bars and venues. Now have gone their own way but Dirk Schmidt is still a one-man-band and being great at it!
Next to being busy as a full-time DJ and producer he also started up his own venue, called Bahn. Where only his favorite music and acts come together at the most ‘Berlin-like’, underground bar hidden behind the street of Witte de With. You need to ask around or know it where to find it.
A great complement to the music of SPACEGIRLS and just as nice.

The love for music lit his fire, before it’s light shun upon some of the furthest reaches of his soul and plunged him on a journey into the bowels of sound.
His Persian background grew roots in the city of Rotterdam and gave birth to his passionately energetic vibe, which transcends the booth with each given live DJ performance.
Damoon brings a sonoric baggage, filled with the deepest subtleties of soulful EDM, with strong house warmth and jazzy tech swings. A true tease ‘n squeeze, flowing over the crowd, outside boxes and without restraints.
He was taken in -from a sensitive age- by compositions of Bach and Verdi, until his long term acquaintance with the attitude of such artists as Dean Martin and Louie Prima, and a scrumptios relationship with strong hip-hop rhythms -of the likes of A Tribe Called Quest and The Neptunes- got him married to the sublime sounds of house & techno.
The bond that he felt exponentially strengthening around him and his feelings for electronic music broadened his perspective, yet specialized his mindset, and set him on stages of clubs such as Catwalk, WATT and BIRD.
With a connected mind, a mighty heart and a soul of centuries, Damoon intends to continue reaching for better and more.
Float like a hi-hat, sting like a snare drum. Catch him blending audio like a rainstick in a hail storm.
