From late 2009 Colors – a TrouwAmsterdam based club night – started to focus on the newest club sounds from the UK. This resulted in a vibrant and diverse night focussing on house and bass music. Colors stands for danceable, sexy and accessible, but forward thinking clubbing. The last two years Colors was able to invite – often for the first time in Holland – some of the most groundbreaking and relevant artists & labels around.
HUDSON MOHAWKE (LIVE) (UK)
Scottish DJ and producer Hudson Mohawke, a headliner in the truest sense of the word, will undoubtedly give a fantastic live performance. Mohawke is one of the most important musical innovators of the moment, with his electronic beats, combining incredibly deep bass and throbbing, southern hip-hop influences. Therefore it may come as no surprise that he is also an emerging, popular name in the American hip-hop scene.
MACHINEDRUM (US)
Machinedrum is a favorite of popular new rap star Azealia Banks, who used Machinedrum’s beat ‘DDD ‘ for her track ’1991′. Machinedrum is the alter ego of Travis Stewart, also part of the bass duo Sepalcure, a favorite in the genre with a bandwidth ranging from house and techno to dancehall and juke.

Lil Silva is quickly becoming one of the most talked about artists on the UK Bass scene. Not only does he possess the musical understanding to work with genres such as American House, Funky and Grime but his ability also allows him to merge and blend styles.
