Founding member of celebrated, Aria-winning live electronica act Infusion, Jamie Stevens has slowly been building his own profile through releases on Bedrock, Sudbeat, microCastle and Chameleon.
Jamie's recent studio collaboration with John Digweed and Nick Muir on Bedrock resulted an epic techno excursion entitled "Prism" whilst Stevens' own glorious "The Wonder of You" caused a massive stir hitting #11 in Beatport's Top 20 release chart and #1 in their Tech House chart. "Tribe of the Disco Kings" is the latest of his releases; an infectious production that focuses on it's gritty and hypnotic low-slung beats.
The instantly recognisable remixes created for the likes of Booka Shade, Hernan Cattaneo, D.Ramirez and Cid Inc have been no stranger to praise and support from the biggest names in the industry like Sasha, Laurent Garnier and Danny Howells. His inventive, bass-heavy, tech-infused house productions are often aired on John Digweed's 'Transitions' and Hernan Cattaneo's 'Resident' radio shows.
Helping out with production mate Steve Ward's Chameleon Records label is another outlet for Jamie's creativity and has seen the label become a solid brand delivering forward thinking techno, electronica and house.
Jamie has spent much of the past 12 years travelling the world both solo and with Infusion, playing at Coachella, Fabric, Womb, Glastonbury as well as events in places such as Argentina, Osaka, Kuala Lumpur, New York, Serbia and Berlin. Lately his DJ sets and live shows have made him a reliable drawcard playing alongside James Zabiela, Guti, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman as well as headlining various events and club nights both in Australia and overseas.
2014 sees Jamie releasing more blistering singles and remixes and unleashing a relentless hybrid live/DJ show around the world.
