This years' Amsterdam Dance Event will witness the birth a of special collaboration between two nightlife concepts; BLOCKPARTY and LABEL. At the already legendary Club Up and it's older brother De Kring, these two nights will host THE Fridaynight for all disco/electro/house enthusiasts. On the 21st of October BLOCKPARTY will host a special Dutch Disco Producers showcase with some of Hollands' disco/electro pioneers. LABEL on the other hand invites the Spanish label Hivern Discs and it's labelboss John Talabot and rising star Pional.
Club Up & De Kring have been doing quite well the lats few years. Both locations are known as the most forward and progressive clubs around the centre of Amsterdam. BLOCKPARTY will host De Kring with a big array of DJ's/producers; Rubix, Quinten909, TWR72, Leonardus and founding father Lars Vegas. LABEL will host Club Up with a extra long DJ set by John Talabot, a liveset by Pional and supporting sets by residents Detroit Swindle & Wano S. But, don't worry, you'll get a bang for your buck because this night doesn't stop at 04:00 but will continue till 07:00.
LABEL is a new trend-watcher in electronic music. From next year on it will, next to it's normal clubnights, host monthly mini-conferences to discuss music, & business, listen to music and offer Ableton masterclasses.
