- Bericht 1
Een BIG selectie van drum & bass, baile funk, moombahton, trap, twerk, ragga, cumbia, dubstep, tropical bass en UK funky van DJ Alec Smart & friends. Verwacht de tofste, frisse, alternatieve elektronische muziek en daarnaast zoals altijd bijzondere acts en verrassingen!
Special guests KJs are three global bass producers based in Manchester & London. They take influence from rhythms around the World, blending them with electronic bass music to create anything from uptempo UK Funky and kuduro to the slow sexy rhythms of Angolan Zouk Bass.
KJs were picked up by Buraka Som Sistema's label Enchufada for a release on their Upper Cuts compilation. Buraka's producer Branko played their tune on his BBC Radio 1 show. The tune also received support from Toddla T, kicking off his radio show for Ninja Tune celebrating their 25th birthday.
"Blending global bass elements with Zouk’s tempo and percussion is so logical; you wonder why nobody did it before. The production is sharp and crisp and has everything you would need to turn any dance floor upside down. A blend of dancehall’s best elements and syncopation and that clangy mid range 3ball and zoukesque percussion gets topped here by some deep synths, that sometimes reminisce of late nights and getting drunk with your mates doing silly dances.”
Grote zaal: DJs Alec Smart & The KJs (GB), VJs Mister Fab & Morris Mor
Kelder: underground techno met The Bus Lane - Nick Fontana (What Is On Your Mind, Rebel Radio), DJ Number4, Youri Voet
