BAR is heading to ADE!!!
We’re very honoured to be the first club from Rotterdam that’s part of the official Amsterdam Dance Event program.
For those who aren’t familiar with us yet, BAR is known for its cutting edge programming, colourful style and the ability to turn any party into a creative extravaganza. BAR is often described as the living room of our city’s electronic music scene and a second home that feels like it’s a mini-festival all year round. But no matter how you put it, that BAR-feeling cannot be put into words and it’s the people that make the place. Lucky for you, we’re planning on bringing a whole lot of all the aforementioned with us!
Noorderlicht will be our home away from home. It's part of one of Amsterdam's most beautiful places with its breath-taking view over the city and a fantastic garden! The venue is located on the ADE SLEEP/OVER, a handmade and intimate festival heart, offering a place for happy campers and presenting an elaborate programme of music, talks, art & performances.
This will be our first event ever outside of our native harbour city. We’re super-excited to meet as many people as possible. Do not hesitate to come over and share a drink with us, we'll show you pure BAR love!!!

Situated on NDSM Plein 102, Noorderlicht is on the ADE SLEEP/OVER, the world’s biggest pyjama party! A temporary urban campsite located on the impressive post-industrial site of the NDSM Shipyard. Only 15 minutes away from the city’s Central Station with over four hundred comfortable, heated sleeping accommodations in different price ranges.
There is a ferry taking guests from the backside of Amsterdam Central Station to the NDSM werf. After getting off the ferry, walk 200 meters straight ahead and turn right upon passing the MTV building, after 300 meters you'll see Noorderlicht at your right-hand side!
