Making people dance with a smile every Sunday night at Sugarfactory- A great night out with the finest DJs and musicians, playing together on a danceable mix of new floor killers and classics. An evening full of jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, house, drum & bass.

This dynamic duo is known for hits like Slow Down, I Can’t Give You Up, You Don’t Know and Beggarman... “It’s a badly kept secret that a lot of people believe John’s heading for future stardom – with a voice with the timbre of the greats of Soul music. Who could deny that? For Smoove and Turrell, their time is coming, and soon.â€
Since the launch of their debut album Antique Soul in 2009 things have started accelerating very fast indeed for the Geordie duo Smoove & Turrell. From being a complete unknown to headlining stages to over 10000 people at Glastonbury. For the next few months the duo are spending any time they have in between gigs back in their Newcastle base recording new songs with the band for their third album due out in 2013.
